In preparation for its next 5 year Business Plan, NHWN held its annual, National Collaborative Stakeholder Event in Central London on 19 November. LNWA was there as the Representative Body for London. For a full description of the event and a report summarising the day, go to:

The Postal Delivery Service (PDS) chain e-mail is doing the rounds again this year and is, as usual, a hoax. It warns about a postal scam that could charge you £315 if you phone a Premium rate number when you receive a card through the post claiming PDS has failed to deliver a package. The e-mail mentions Royal Mail and Trading Standards in an attempt to look official. This chain e-mail refers to a service that has not been in operation since 2005 and the Belize-based operating service was fined £10,000 by PhonepayPlus.
